Differentiated Instruction Subjects

A major consideration of differentiated instruction is including many sensory modalities to increase pathways for better memory, especially the student’s preferred sense of sight, sound, smell, taste, touch or body movement. The familiarity, appeal and logic of prompts, materials and delivery can also be adapted for different learners. Classroom management is generally consistent for all students, but adaptations can be made to help specific students increasingly approximate classroom rules and on-target behavior
